About Us

Quote: "The level of support provided has been consistently excellent. Provided me with opportunities for me to help rebuild my life, which was not forthcoming from anywhere else. At the same time made me feel valued, and gave me someone I could turn to in some very dark moments."

"They have been a major link in my success to regaining a more normal life."

About Us What We Offer Links Newsletter

Education Link is designed to provide a comprehensive range of advice, support, guidance and educational opportunities, for adults with mental health and emotional problems. The project  has a wide remit of supporting individuals with mental health issues, encompasses Vocational Rehab and Recovery, and works with community mental health teams, Link Social Care Service, education, employment providers, and community organisations that support recovery.

Our aim is to provide a free, confidential, and informal service, offering support to people who wish to overcome personal and social barriers, that they feel are holding them back from education, training or employment.

The project works towards making communities more aware of mental health issues, reducing discrimination and helping individuals to join in with their local communities, thus promoting social inclusion and engagement. We are based in Bideford, but operate across North Devon Including; Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, South Molton, Torrington and Holsworthy.

The service is free, but to be eligible for the service you do need to be either within a Mental Health service, or have a Care Plan. If you are not sure whether you qualify, please call us on 01237 425778. If we are not able to help you, we can probably refer you to an organisation that can!
